I liked that it matches the description and easy to use. Cons: The cup/cup port does not fit regular 8-bull cups. Cups are wider than the locking mechanism on the cup connector. You must always keep this closed when translating. Also, it doesn't heat up enough to transfer the ink properly. I used this on a test mug and was never able to get full color transfer. It was extremely faded and there were areas on the flip that didn't transfer at all. I tried different designs of Cricut ink paper on different parts of the mug. I let him go for up to 30 minutes without disturbing him. This 30 minutes seemed to convey darker, but the red turned out to be a variant of white-pink. Black became a kind of brown. I haven't tried the hat plug yet. I'm pretty sure I'll have better luck with this than the cup connector because you can put pressure on the hat. The heat press works relatively well. I got this because it was the whole set in one box as opposed to Cricut where you have to buy everything separately making this a very expensive hobby! The cost of this device makes it more affordable! I'll see if there's anything I can use to make this cup connector work better.
