Review on Dependable 8Ft Rope Ladder Fire Escape - Spring Hooks, Weather Resistant & Lightweight With 2000 Lb Weight Capacity by Andrew Mack

I have 2 daughters. They are 6 & 8 yrs. old, and they weigh less than 60 lbs. each. I purchased this ladder roughly 3 months ago to enable my daughters to access a treehouse I built for them. After receiving the ladder, I fastened it to the girls' treehouse using the metal carabiners. Initially, it worked fine . until it didn't. On one occasion, my oldest daughter began climbing the ladder when the bottom rung came unfastened and fell off for no apparent reason. The rope on each side also frayed. See pics. I would like a refund for this ladder as it does not work for the purpose intended, and my daughter could have been injured . although, thankfully, she was not injured. Although the return window has closed, I should still be provided a refund as this ladder is either defective or junk. I've attempted to contact the seller and provided my email address for a response, but to no avail. I will keep trying. I cannot recommend purchasing this ladder.
