Like many people, I discovered a ton of creative passions while hiding in my apartment during this pandemic and making polymer clay earrings caught my attention . , I decided to give this set a try before investing in more tools and clay-related clutter. I didn't have high expectations as this is a starter kit but I was impressed with the quality of this putty! They are wet and sticky, pre-fired so if you work slowly you don't feel the need to rush into work until the clay is dry. After baking, the clay is firm but still light and flexible, which is good because it prevents your creations from cracking. No compromise between quality and price, the earrings I made turned out to be just as beautiful as the other Sculpey clay earrings I have. The included texturing and cutting tools are also useful. I would recommend this set to anyone who wants to start a new hobby without committing to buying expensive tools and supplies to start with!
