Review on D Ring ExcelFu Anchor Lashing Trailers by Christopher Hicks
These little rings did what I needed
I used them on a case that was rectangular, long and thin. The Carrying a box by the handle and this case by the handle was a bit heavy so I drilled some small holes and used some washers and screwed them to the case and then added a shoulder strap and it worked great.
