I needed to smooth out a jagged joint in the concrete base of my utility room while installing thin vinyl plank flooring. I was about to change floors when I saw concrete grinding wheel prices at a large store nearby. Then I saw them for a great price and tried them. Can't complain, I was able to sand about 3/8th of the uneven concrete joints to the point where it's easy to use a backing pad to get a smooth floor. When sanding indoors wear a mask and a good air filter to clean the air as things get very dusty and concrete dust is no joke.
