Review on Proto Pasta CDP11705 Composite Conductive Black: High-Quality Conductive Filament for Advanced 3D Printing by Johnathan Delgado

Inconsistent and headache for my printer.

I use it to print capacitive touch panels for my product. Once it's set up, print quality is pretty good, although there is some sacrifice in durability and layer adhesion compared to regular PLA. It really makes the number on the injectors. Filament cleaning is not effective. I ended up resorting to simply changing tips after using this material. I am using the 3rd coil and it is not compatible with the first two. It seems almost twice as brittle as the others and keeps breaking next to my extruder, giving me a huge headache. I need a conductive filament, but the last spool really pissed me off. Maybe it's time to think about alternatives.

Pros
  • High conductivity 15 ohm-cm, suitable for LED lighting, touch sensors and other electronics. Supplied on a standard size fully corrugated recyclable spool
Cons
  • Something else
