OEM from Japan. That's what you want, even if they cost more.

After about 70,000 miles both of my rear wheel bearings popped up. They never wore out, just got noisy so it felt like you were riding MT tires all the time. I ended up getting angry enough and bought a pair of these. I was happy to see that they arrived in the correct packaging and were made in Japan. If, like me, you haul your old ones over 88,000 miles in Iowa, you'll need the help of pneumatic jackhammers and an actual mini sledgehammer to haul the old ones out. The new ones came right after I used Emory to clean the surface of the rust on the knuckle. The best news is that my Forester is calm again. I am sure that in the near future the front wheel bearings will fail and I will keep doing this work. It's annoying that they accidentally wear out. Most of my miles are on the interstate at 80 mph, so the speed can actually wear it down more than off-road and city driving. My only base is asking other Subaru owners when their car was worn out. A good product. I recommend it. My sister installed three normal wheel bearings on the rear passenger side of her Crosstrek in one year. Don't be like my sister. Sit down and buy the right part.
