Tl;Dr: It works, but don't expect an easy, great, or stable print. I don't think I will buy this again unless there are better yarns in stock. I've also listed my temperatures and settings below. Let's start with the packaging: the description says the thread comes in a resealable bag, which is correct. It comes in a vacuum plastic case that was so thin I could poke in it and break it. In fact, the plastic was so thin it had dozens of holes in it. PETG is not as prone to moisture absorption as other filaments, but this reduces print quality right out of the box. If I had waited a few weeks to use the filament I would have been a lot worse off printing with it as there are already pops in the filament every now and then due to the water boiling in the filament. Setting this thread required a TON of work. I had to go all the way to the hottest temperatures recommended on the packaging for anything to stick. I use Sovol for printing so it's supposed to release prints easily, but PETG is notorious for excessive adhesion and it shouldn't have been such an issue! Even after increasing the temperature on the table to 85 I still have problems with the filament detaching during the first few layers, so I almost always print with a raft, even the edges don't cut because the filament doesn't even stick very good on yourself! I've tried printing across the full temperature range and again found that the hotter the better. Prints at 250 had the least problems with layer adhesion, but did result in some burnt bits of plastic sticking to the prints and peeling off. Prints at 230 could flow but clogged the extruder after just a few mm. I found the 245 to offer an acceptable balance of grip and fluidity. By the way, about fluidity. I had to increase the flow rate to 107% in order for the filament to extrude evenly onto the platform. After hours of aligning, realigning, switching between successful and unsuccessful prints, I found that this is the magic number. The problem is that the filament diameter is quite variable and tends to be well below the nominal 1.75mm. 107% find a decent balance between the combination of over- and under-extrusion I've experienced in my prints. So here is my general opinion. I do not work professionally with this thread and do not deal with complex prints. It can be frustrating, but now that I've set up a good profile, it prints pretty well. It is not too viscous for PETG. After putting everything I needed in, the prints came out pretty good, but not world class. It has a low odor, the prints are very strong, so it meets what I consider to be the minimum acceptable criteria. I just wish I didn't have to rely on a raft to print something without an initial large area.
