Contrary to what the first review of this book says, this is NOT a crochet book. You don't really need any crochet, knitting or sewing skills. All dolls are made by wrapping yarn around themselves and it is very easy to make! There are basic instructions for making the doll, and then specific instructions for creating each of the Royal Family's characters. The dolls are very accurate. and detail oriented. Even if you don't think you'd want to try making it yourself, the book is great for photographing alone and makes a great gift too! And for those of you who want to make dolls, they are made with the popular brands of yarn you can find!
