If you don’t see the line, it’s because there’s not enough sugar in your sample.It came pre-calibrated, but I verified with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and an existing bottle of maple syrup from a local sugar shack. Spot on.It has saved me time and effort in my first year of sugaring my maples and is a great value and easy to use
