It took a few weeks to ship. The diameter is larger than I thought (2 1/4 inches). The base on which the dome is mounted makes it a quality product. Read Dial.Mine came with some leftovers - this was presumably due to handling when it was placed in its plastic bag packaging. The residue appeared under the fingers, but was wiped off without much effort. Also, the edge of the glass of my device has a small ridge that is difficult to photograph. The scallop is to the right of D in the photo. This device should not have been shipped. Overall, however, I am satisfied with the product.
