We moved into a house with an internal garage door that would not close by itself. I have learned that in most areas the front door to an attached garage must be "fireproof" and have self-closing hinges. The aim is to prevent the fire in the garage from spreading to the house. Apparently either not in my state or the house was built before this code went into effect. Okay, I chose them to keep my dogs indoors and no longer "help out" when I bring groceries etc from the store. Garage so I needed new hinges. These are very difficult conditions. Firmly. They come two per box, but it took me three to replace the old oiled bronze hinges. You may need to purchase a separate center loop. Easy to install with all necessary hardware for loop and tension adjustment. PERFECT!
