The product description says it's suitable for hand drills but 14 stitches on my forearm says that's a lie. Also, the drill isn't straight, so it wobbles. I took it to a friend with a power drill after I got out of the ER and even then the board twitched like crazy with every pass. My friend also had one of the large DeWalt drill bits with a stabilizer handle and his drill bit twitched as did mine when he tried to see if he could get it working with a hand drill. If you're using a drill press, you can get it working with great frustration because it's still rocking. If you don't have a drill but try it anyway, make sure you have something handy to stop the bleeding, as the ER described the laceration as "impressive."
