I love these lights! I only kept one and gave the other away as a gift. They are a bit different than your normal blacklight. They operate lower on the light spectrum making it have less visible light. I really like that aspect of it. It makes it less purple light to get in the way of what you are really trying to look at. The beam is strong enough even though you can not see it as well. It has a focus on it so you can go from wide to narrow. It comes with two UV lights Which helps make this a better value and I think that is about the right price. We use ours for scorpion hunting and it is amazing for that.
