Cool sound effects - work faster - look cool too.

I have used K&N filters on my three recent Audis, my wife's Buick and a Harley V-Rod. I figured I might as well put this on my 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour. It went in easily, but I would have liked a better description of the silicone hose seal. I figured this out with some trouble (I might add, I'm very mechanically inclined). I can make some changes to make the installation cleaner. On the Crosstour you have a solid steel breather tube that runs from the crankcase to the air intake. This is a "double" tube as the coolant tube is welded to it. I might get there with a dremel in the future and remove the vent tube so it doesn't hang from the black zip ties. At around 2500 rpm you can hear a real roar under the hood. You can hear it in the cabin even with the windows closed. I was surprised my wife didn't mention something was wrong with my car! (didn't tell her about fashion). I'm wondering if this will have a negative impact on my gas mileage as I enjoy cruising around town with the 2500+ rpm rev range all the time. I'm such a gangster in my family a mobile Honda I'm an old dude that probably should have just left it in storage but I just wanted to have some fun. The engine bay is cool too. Who knows, maybe next time I'll get a fancy gas cap. That should be very quick! Everyone be good neighbors - take care of yourself.
