I use it for a 6V forest camera from a 12V lawnmower battery. With transformer to step down the voltage from 12V to 6V between the camera and the shutdown protection module. He switches off. It measures and displays a battery voltage that is 0.4V lower than the two voltmeters I used to check accuracy. Even my automatic loader is more accurate. So you need to monitor the battery for the recommended shutdown level of 11.6V. Check the redness of the protection module and adjust the settings accordingly. But it doesn't work comfortably. I recommend buying it if you don't want to deal with the issue of calibration. I will try another brand.
