The fork is secure and I love that it has a built in clip to clip to the trailer fork when not in use. One thing you need to understand is that the bracket (the plastic tab with the circle on it) that comes out of the fork doesn't fit on the trailer fork itself. To install this properly you will need to disconnect the trailer cable from the trailer, then run the cable through the circle and reattach it. Most people will not want to do this. When you install a new line. This is when you want to get it. Otherwise, you can align the circle with the line behind the cap. Doesn't look that nice/clean, but seems ok to me so far.
