These are the best dry bags I have ever used. I recently took a weekend trip to the Appalachian Mountains and it was raining heavily. lakes even. I used a small bag to store all my clothes (shirt, thermals, socks, bra and sweatpants with more than enough room for all my extra clothes), medium sized bags fit my down sleeping bag. Bag + my inflatable sleeping pad, with room for my electronics, and the largest size I've loaned to a friend and it fits his synthetic mummy, clothes and all his water damaged electronics with plenty of room. The bags themselves are feather light, very comfortable and soft (I used a garment bag as a pillow, that worked well and kept my head off the ground! Multifunctional!) Our tent was quite small (two people) and bet we did these bags, was quite extensive. To have enough space to shelter us and a friend from the rain, we just left our gear in bags outside the tent until we were ready for bed. Bone dry as we shook them off and pulled out our gear. We ran into deep water at a creek crossing and my sleeping bag soaked the stuff sack at the bottom of my pack - I was afraid of having a wet bed but I shouldn't have. The dust is dry! I have recommended them to all my hiking buddies on this trip - they are worth every penny for peace of mind!
