Received this unit today, installed it and have not had any problems connecting to USB ports as described by others in their reviews. When you turn on your PC, the Windows 10 platform will instantly and automatically download the necessary drivers to enable the ports. After making sure everything was working properly, I disabled the USB ports controlled by the motherboard by disabling them in the BIOS. I needed this card because the motherboard USB controller had a component failure that was throwing a permanent error code on my PC and preventing me from using the system. This $60 PCIe USB card saved me from buying a new computer!
