I have used Dedeco cutting discs before and have been happy with the quality but they were a lot more expensive than Dremel. I've read a number of reviews on here that these cutting discs crumble and fall apart easily. I decided to try them. Here are my findings: 1) Just like the Dedeco, they are brittle and need careful handling, especially not hitting from side to side 2) Do not over tighten the screw in the collet or you will damage the wheel and it will be more blueprints3) Use a steady hand when cutting and avoid sideways movements. Any wheel (Dedeco or Dremel) breaks fairly easily when lateral pressure is applied to it. cut into tens, and the results were fairly consistent). I think it was pretty impressive. It was 20 degrees outside. I've even had a couple of wheels that got stuck in the stall a bit and they haven't broken yet, but if you move them sideways they will usually fall apart soon. 5) I've also used them to cut through an M6 (metric - 6mm or .24") stainless steel bolt. Stainless steel is really strong, but I was able to cut through the bolt with just one cutter wheel (just one). Bottom line: if As long as you hold the tool straight (preferably with two hands), avoid sideways movement, let the wheel do the cutting, don't apply too much pressure or over-tighten the turnbuckle, they should work well for most small cutting operations.I only cut steel I'm not sure how it behaves with soft materials like plastic etc. Soft materials can cause heat and sticking.
