Doesn't get hot to the brim.

I'm disappointed with these mats because the track stays clean. There is approximately 2 inches on all sizes that does not get hot, making this rug even narrower than the 12 inch rug. Photos also show that the heating elements are rolled into sections, which allows snow and slush to accumulate. between sections on mats in this light snowfall. I can't imagine what it's going to be like when it's 2 inches per hour, which he claims he can handle. There isn't much tread on these mats so I hope they don't get slippery either. The carpet at the top of the stairs on the deck is a different brand and heats up to the brim. Update - January 2018 - Mats worked slightly better over the season, but now 1 mat only works on the first 10% of the jam. the end. See image. Manufacturers have responded well to the initial review.
