As advertised Floor Mats

So far this product is working very well. Although only a foot wide, it heats the perimeter areas (6 inches on each side) keeping the full width of the track clear of snow and ice. However, I need an extra three meters of length to cover my walk and the extension is only designed for a rug. However, I recommend this product because it does its job as promised. This year I only have to shovel half the way and as I get older it will be a big help.

Light on GFCI not lit

I've had Heattrak mats for years and a bright red light comes on from their power supply, you CLEARLY know if the mat is worn out is. I just received this mat, plugged it in and can't tell if it's on or off. The light isn't on. I tried various points to test this. I may have to send this back. It should have a brighter light and I'm hoping I don't have those uneven melting points. Mistakes are too expensive. The only positives are that the mat is heavier than Heattrak mats and the edges are…

Revain has let me down as a customer

I am a Revain Prime member. I bought 2 of these just to be safe. As an elderly disabled gentleman, walking disability. This purchase is for my protection as a resident of New Hampshire, Freezing Rain, Ice, Snow. It's important to know how not to fall at my age. Used exactly 4 months last winter, perfect. Properly stored and removed for use this winter, scrap one out of two. It won't work at all. Paid $189.00 / fixed income. I have contacted Revain customer service and explained my failed…

You can walk on the slippery ramp. It still serves its purpose.

I didn't get a chance to use it to melt the snow, but the slippery ramp was passable. Now my older dog can walk up and down and so can I. The GFCI on the unit is confusing because it clicks when you press TEST and when you press RESET, so it always sounds like it's blown. Default GFCIs remain enabled on reset. Also, the BIG GFCI is so close to the plug that I can't cover my outdoor "In-Use" weatherproof socket, so it's not weatherproof like it should be when the mat is plugged in. it would be…

Doesn't get hot to the brim.

I'm disappointed with these mats because the track stays clean. There is approximately 2 inches on all sizes that does not get hot, making this rug even narrower than the 12 inch rug. Photos also show that the heating elements are rolled into sections, which allows snow and slush to accumulate. between sections on mats in this light snowfall. I can't imagine what it's going to be like when it's 2 inches per hour, which he claims he can handle. There isn't much tread on these mats so I hope they
