Hook part needs to be deeper
The hook needs to be a bucket because I couldn't get a drill bit in the hook to drill the bolts in the trailer. I could use a percussion gun to screw them in, but hardly. If they widened the U-shaped piece about 2 inches, it would make the installation easier. That aside, I've installed it on the side of a trailer with a 28ft fiberglass line and it still works. Time will tell if it can withstand the weight of the stairs and the bumps in the road.
