Review on Performance Tool W9178 Precision 33 Piece by Mark Ponnusamy

I bought this tool because my nice i.fixit kit doesn't have the extensions I need for my job. I managed to disassemble a karaoke machine the other day, but it was too much work. It had a damaged solder joint with screws in a deep plastic sleeve and was very difficult to work on with regular tools. I went through the tools at my local fry to get the exact size extensions. There were several options, but I really wanted a flex shaft, even though I couldn't get a straight extension. Upon purchase, I discovered that this kit actually comes with TWO expansions! You see, the main bit holder is secured with a collet. He retreats into the pen. If you loosen the collet, it will extend an additional 3-4 inches. I'll measure later. The handle is rubberized and looks like a professional tool. did not include a Philips #2 which I usually use for this particular project and this bit would be rare in a precision set, the pozi #1 bit is perfect for these screws. BTW these bits and extensions seem to work with it. my ifixit and other precision tool handles. So if like me you want a professional precision tool set with a flexible shaft and a straight shank, this is the set for you.
