The threaded crank worked great on my son's 26" frame. The main reason I bought the Gunopper crank is that the cranks were all black with no logos. Very clean Everything is fine in the kit except the 32T star that comes with the kit is rubbish and does not work. The star's teeth don't even look narrow-broad. Tried different Shimano chains, from 7/8s to 10s chains (different widths) and all had a lot of play and were very loose on the crank. When you start kicking the chain jumps on the chain which was quite dangerous. I bought a $12 JGbike chainring and the narrow, wide teeth immediately caught my eye - they were very different from the regular chainring that comes with the Ganopper crankset. I would love to take a photo to compare the two stars but I was frustrated with the asterisk that came with this kit which I reloaded. We had no issues with the JGbike chainring and now the crank upgrade (went from 3x7 to 1x9) has paid off for my son.
