Directly suitable for Shimano HollowTech II bottom bracket

Fits directly onto the existing Shimano HollowTech II bottom bracket on both of my bikes. The chainring was quickly and easily screwed to the crank (use Loctite screw lock).

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Hard to say

looks and feels high quality

This was my first attempt at modifying my cheap bike. I threw away the failed Ashtabula (sp?) handle and added an adapter and this set and I love it. Everything works great, I will buy more.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great offer! the best in the sport

I work part time in a bike shop and they are as good if not better than some of the specialty cranks/sprockets/bottom brackets on mid range bikes. Easy installation and great price! I restored a cool $20 bike with a great frame and it was a decent upgrade from 3x to 1x.

Pros
  • Highest tester ratings for support and durability
Cons
  • Available in white only

Used on vintage mountain bikes.

Worked great to convert my old 3 square bar mountain bike to this single sprocket setup. Just make sure you research what size you need as I didn't and had to buy a second chain. At the moment I only have the classic 7 gears in the rear, so I opted for 42 teeth. Uphill is not as easy as it used to be, but not scary. Now a decent downhill speed is required before free pedaling. Please note that the 42 is only sold separately but works.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Inexpensive or just cheap?

I usually buy IXF cranks to build or upgrade bikes. This crank was such a good price because it came with a sprocket and I decided to give it a try. I encountered some problems during the installation. My bottom bracket is 73mm. When screwing in the bottom bracket, it didn't screw in as smoothly as it should. I then had to use two spacers on the drive side because the crank had to be close to the bike frame. Spacers are made of plastic. I'm not sure how it will hold up in the long run. The time

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Clarity

Nice set of bottom bracket and crank. Bad sprocket

Replacing the square bottom bracket with this setup. The installation was easy and smooth. The hardest part was getting the old stuff out. The pedals turn smoothly, the weight has decreased. The only downside is that the sprocket didn't work with my 11 speed chain. It made a noise when pedaling and upon inspection the chain was not fully seated on the sprocket. I went back to my old sprocket which matched the crank perfectly. Overall I'm happy with it as long as I can get a year or two out of…

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine

Great budget option

If you are assembling a bike or replacing a damaged handlebar this is a great budget option. It's not much heavier than cranks that cost 4 times as much. I'd recommend checking the market for entry-level used Shimano or Sram carbon cranks first, but if they're not in stock, buy them with confidence. Cons: The included bottom bracket is completely useless. The handle itself is $50, but DO NOT USE THIS BOTTOM MOUNT! The bearings seem to have play so you will find your crank slipping at least once

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Nothing

Surprisingly good best gear components

This setup was surprisingly good except for the bottom bracket. The cranks feel sturdy and there's no feeling of flexing at all, the chainring is sturdy and just as strong as any I've used (had trouble holding the chain for the first mile or two , but once the paint on the teeth wore off, it was one of the most reliable chainrings I've ever used). The axle makes a nice and solid impression. The bottom bracket is complete junk. It turns well, but falls apart so easily when installed it's not…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

Great crankset but grip chain

The threaded crank worked great on my son's 26" frame. The main reason I bought the Gunopper crank is that the cranks were all black with no logos. Very clean Everything is fine in the kit except the 32T star that comes with the kit is rubbish and does not work. The star's teeth don't even look narrow-broad. Tried different Shimano chains, from 7/8s to 10s chains (different widths) and all had a lot of play and were very loose on the crank. When you start kicking the chain jumps on the chain…

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Great price
