I love these wheels so much! I wish I had bought them a long time ago. Smooth, with good grip but can slide easily over hard, smooth and flat concrete surfaces. Can easily roll over pesky cracks and pebbles! When I first started learning to skate, all my resources told me to start with 78A road wheels. So I did. It was very difficult for me to learn to skate with those giant jellies, but I was scared of the 98A's creepy progressive hard wheels. Eventually I got bored with my big ole street bikes and bought RollerBones bikes. I felt instantly comfortable, stable and able to make easy transitions and braking with these bikes! I recommend the Radar Energy 57 outdoor wheels as the best 78A wheels. But you can't go wrong with choosing the RollerBones 98A for indoor/outdoor use, and of course at an unbeatable price. I just love them so much I wish they were in more colors!
