It has been working for me for about a week and the engine performance has never dropped since I installed it. I started by just putting on a new harness and that worked for about 2 days and then the REP started again. I took the next step and removed the throttle body, drilled out the rivets, put on the new sensor and screwed in the 4 screws that came with it. Total time for this was maybe 30 minutes and no problem. I've driven my truck a few times on cold mornings and haven't had a single problem so I believe this is the solution I needed. The new harness wires are much thicker than the factory wires. If I were to do it again I would start with the sensor on the throttle body first so you don't have a bunch of spliced wires. I've read many times that the problem is in the wiring harness. I decided to start with that, unfortunately in my case it wasn't wiring so now I have a lot of connections and have to worry about them coming loose along the way.
