Plug and play! I didn't even need a driver CD for Windows 10. I plugged an external hard drive into each of the two ports and the drives booted cleanly with no issues. I would like to say a few words about Inateck's support service. . I originally bought a 4 port; Card with a mandatory connection to the computer power supply. I couldn't get it to work. After several weeks of talking to support, I discovered that the problem wasn't with the card, but with my computer's power connector: it wasn't hot and it was the last available connector. That's when I ordered a 2-port bus-powered one. All this time Inateck support has been doing their best to help. I didn't simplify because I was sure to the last that the problem was in the card. Inateck stayed with me and I applaud her patience. They tried in vain to please me. Although I did not return or ask for the 4-port card, I ended up being refunded the full cost of the 4-port card. The 5-star rating here applies to both Inateck's customer support and the hardware itself.
