I have a very large yard and need better Wi-Fi coverage than my previous cheap outdoor hotspot. I had high hopes for this product but so far I have been very disappointed with the signal from the Hawking Technology Hi-Gain Outdoor Dual-Band Wireless-600N Wireless-600N. I set up my device as a hotspot. The signal goes up and down and I often lose connection and have to turn Wi-Fi on and off on my device to reconnect. I called Hawking tech support and went through all the troubleshooting steps with low and high level support reps only to find that my new unit was faulty. I was given a case number and told to return to Revain for a device replacement. Personally, I don't think the device is defective. I believe this is a typical Wi-Fi device that promises great coverage but doesn't deliver.
