This car wash mitt will scratch your car. It is not as soft as pure sheep's wool or microfiber mittens. I should have known when, in addition to wool, it was called a blend of polyester and nylon (there was supposed to be just a hint of wool, by the way). You would never wash your car with a polyester/nylon shirt, so don't do it with this glove on. I would return it but sending it back costs me almost the same as it only costs 4.88. Only suitable for washing the car bottom or wheels. DO NOT USE ON A CLEAR COATING! Save money and buy a pure lambswool or pure microfiber washcloth, or use a natural sponge. They are superior.
