IRL Slightly smaller than pictured. I ordered 5 of these and the main part of the piñata is half the size shown in the picture. But the "tail" part of the toy makes up for this, so it's still about 4 inches. My cockatiels grind up one of these in 3-5 days, but only because they love it so much that they ignore their other toys and become obsessed with it. until the toy is completely destroyed. On the other hand, my kennels, which are sunny and larger, grind one of them in a little under a day and sometimes two days if I give it in the middle of the day. This chopper toy isn't big enough for medium to large sizes in my opinion, especially for those who can chew a block of wood into toothpicks in a matter of hours. I would recommend a piñata or a larger chopper. Also a little tip! There is a loop on the top of the toy that can be cut and attached to the bars of the cage. However, the best method is to use a screw/turn lock carabiner. You can get them anywhere.
