Purchased to recover R22 from a replacement system. Worked great. Supplied with approximately 100psi of nitrogen in the tank. Some recommend rinsing off tool oil, others say it doesn't matter much. Usually, tanks are rinsed in production before they are sealed. I haven't had any issues with them and they hold a vacuum/seal very well. If you plan on storing it for a long period of time, I would recommend getting some brass caps with a 1/4" SAE O-ring as an extra precaution. For those wondering, my empty tank was exactly 18lb 0oz.
