It was so twisted in 4 places that it couldn't work at all.
It was wrapped and twisted so tightly that it kinked in 4 places so the opening was completely closed. I tried opening it by flinging the stains and using a hair dryer to soften the plastic. It didn't work - it just kept reverting to its original form. I ended up cutting about 2 feet of tubing to get an open lumen and put the metal cap back on the tubing, but when I tried using it to draw the gas out of the container it didn't work despite many tries. do exactly what they recommended. It was a waste of time and money. I am sorry.
