Bought this pump based on reviews and price. When I received it I tested it with my in-port vacuum gauge and it got to 14 microns pretty quickly. So I used it for the first time and it stretched to 180 microns in about 10 minutes. I thought great, let's do the next one. I set it up and start creating a vacuum, this time the pressure decreases a little more slowly, it reaches about 400 microns, and the pressure starts to increase. I close the valves and the pressure stops rising so there is no leak in the system, I restart the pump and open the valves, the pressure oscillates up and down and starts to rise again. I put my vacuum gauge back on the connector and this time it reads no vacuum. I grab my single stage pump which I have had for 2 years now, plug it in and stop pumping the lines. It took a lot longer, but I pumped them out. I really didn't expect this pump to fail so quickly. I was counting on 6 to 9 months but with 20 minutes of operation what a POS. I took it apart and it looks like the shaft and seal have worn out and lost their ability to hold a vacuum. I would not recommend this pump unless you just need to use it for a small job within 10 minutes.
