Some pros: Economical battery power; Water protection; Works in frost. I took it to record bike trip tracks - it works much more reliably than a phone, but still, occasionally it cuts off. Great to use for navigating a pre-prepared track. Has cons: I don't think it's justifiably expensive. Navigation is weak - if you need to create a bike route in the city - it is better to use the phone. Slows down the display of the stock map, but you can download open OSM maps.
