The adapter is very easy to connect to the battery, the wire cross-section comes out well from the adapter. However, the battery poles inside the adapter are too thin. Caliber is too small. As you can see in the picture, the new DeWalt battery clip has melted. Also the terminal on the adapter melted. The thickness of the poles on the battery was doubled, that wouldn't have happened. This issue cannot be justified by saying that the battery is used or old as it was brand new. Your proof in the picture with a calliper
