The quality is top notch and I recommend the product for purchase.
I needed a simple microtic (to be able to have several seeds, networks, set up tricky VPNs, port forwarding, watchdogs, etc.), preferably with an AC, for giving. no options at all. a weak radio path does not bother me - the house is wooden. but the functionality of RouterOS is why they take mikrotiks. two Wi-Fi networks (separately for IoT, separately for people), the ability to connect the house and the cottage into a single network. and much more. but if you just need a router "so that everything works out of the box" - take the zixel kinnetik.
- This Mikrotik is the main advantage. Router OS is the main thing. who does not need the extended functionality of the router - I do not recommend taking it. but I have only microtics in all places. relatively cheap router with AC 5GHz support
- as such, it has no shortcomings, if you carefully read the characteristics. it does not have the best radio path and no external antennas, not the most powerful processor. but it's all in the specs.
