Cap fits perfectly but plastic retaining cable doesn't fit. The cable was too long and got in the way when unscrewing the cap. And at the other end of the plastic cable, a tee is cast, which must be inserted into the hole immediately behind the fuel outlet. The tee is too small for the hole, and the cable falls out every fourth or fifth fill, and the cap falls to the ground, inevitably rolling under the car. What is this design? My original had a "screw eye" at the end of the cable that was attached to the car with a screw. It has never "fallen out" in many years, causing the lid to hit the floor. come on guys
