Must work - doesn't work

I really wanted this to work. First, in my case, a lot had to be cut. Not easy if you don't have a metal grinder, but it's good that they made it long enough to fit in any doorway. . .However, . . . The 'instructions' regarding the doorstop, which flattens the spring and thus blocks the air under the door, are not sufficient. The property is so delicate. What you think should work actually causes the door not to close - OR the doorstop pushes against the locking mechanism in such a way that it moves sideways and prevents the door from closing. I even tried industrial tape to keep the bottom flap from sliding to one side. . . . did not help. I've been fiddling with this thing for hours, . . . . Again, I really wanted this to work. But in the end, after cutting, sawing and re-adjusting - I had to admit that it just wasn't designed for what might be a heavy solid wood door. Good idea - just not very well implemented with enough concrete instructions.

Pros
  • HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS - The single sealing fin is designed to keep out the elements like rain, snow or sleet and outside noise so you can comfortably enjoy the comforts of your own home.
Cons
  • No performance
