Cheap Equipment Product

I installed this item outside of the garage side door. The damper should bounce up when the door is opened, and it almost never does. You get what you pay for. I can't return it because I've already cut it.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE. Save some energy by caulking your door with this protective cover/plug so you don't have to clean as often in the future.
Cons
  • Lightly dented

Another premium product from AM Conservation Group

Like other AM Conservation Group products I have purchased this is a very well made product, best in class. Just make sure it's what you need and that it works with the doors you have in mind. As it turned out, the automatic spring didn't work with the door design I intended it for. However, I cut the springs and applied some epoxy to eliminate the "automatic" elevator and used it on the other door. With the inherent quality of the materials and a little bit of customization, it's perfect for…

Pros
  • EASY INSTALLATION. Supplied with medium duty extruded aluminum bracket with flexible single sealing rib and slotted screw holes for easy adjustment and installation. It also comes with an installation guide and Phillips screws.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Must work - doesn't work

I really wanted this to work. First, in my case, a lot had to be cut. Not easy if you don't have a metal grinder, but it's good that they made it long enough to fit in any doorway. . .However, . . . The 'instructions' regarding the doorstop, which flattens the spring and thus blocks the air under the door, are not sufficient. The property is so delicate. What you think should work actually causes the door not to close - OR the doorstop pushes against the locking mechanism in such a way that it…

Pros
  • HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS - The single sealing fin is designed to keep out the elements like rain, snow or sleet and outside noise so you can comfortably enjoy the comforts of your own home.
Cons
  • No performance

Just what I need for uneven panels/door frames.

Good value for money, easy installation, ideal for uneven floors. Exactly what I needed. Installation was easy - just measure the width of the door when the door is closed; mark the scan to the appropriate width; cut the reamer frame with a saw; cut off the rubber gasket with scissors; screw it to the door with the door closed; and finally assemble the small oval stop that brings the brush to the closed position. When I moved in, the front door to my detached garage had a fixed brush…

Pros
  • IMPROVED DOOR METALS - Best for exterior or interior doors, tending to be in situations where carpeting makes it difficult to use traditional brushes. The spring activation increases when the door is opened and falls when the door is closed to close the gap.
Cons
  • Vulgarity
