I bought these because when I removed the old shocks I broke the rubber on the lower shock bushing. You need to push out the old bushing and put in the new standard bushing. Not wanting to risk breaking any of the other 20 year old bolts by removing the wishbone, I went that route. I was able to burn through the rubber of the old bushing and use a saw and chisel to carefully remove the outer shell. from an old bush. They are in two parts, so do not have to be pressed in. Much easier to install.
