Good for beginners!
Most of these red gauges are too big to use on medieval hairnets. But the needles are well made, they have a lot of thread. The larger of the two needles is too large to be used for weaving fine stitches. My favorite stencil is to use DPN needles, they don't twist like flat stencils.
