The starter works great with my Johnson 200hp. 1998
I have a 1998 Johnson 200 HP Ocean Runner. The starter motor is attached to the engine with four bolts. Since the holes on the starter didn't line up exactly with the holes on the engine, I was only able to attach the starter with 3 screws. However, the 3 screws correctly positioned the starter and held the starter firmly in place. The starter worked great the entire week we were in the Florida Keys and made extensive use of the boat every day.
