Review on CURT 13355 Trailer 2 Inch Receiver by Daniel Haddo

I had to get a Jack - Coupler

There was no problem removing the spare tire. When I did it myself, I found that using a rope with a slipknot on one end and bolts on the other made the job easier. I encountered problems in two places. My old f150 from 2000 is partly to blame. A jack was required to install the trailer hitch. When I managed to align everything to climb into the bolt positions, the hitch itself couldn't climb to the frame, it hung. I had to use a jack on the hitch to push it up where I could insert the bolts. It's okay, old truck, in 20 years everything will move a bit. Light wiring harness for trailers. If I had attached the hitch without noticing that it was pressing against the bundle of wires going to the trailer's light connector, I could easily break many of those connections. When I started to attach the hitch I made sure to get those wires out of the way and all was fine.
