EDITED: Be sure to install silver hardware horizontally

[UPDATED] The seller was kind enough to reach out to me and clarify that the silver hardware needs to be installed horizontally, not vertically, which would explain why the face plate didn't fit on my install! Blunder on my part, so I'm updating this review, and sharing this to hopefully prevent others from making the same mistake I did. :)Leaving old review below for transparency.ORIGINAL REVIEW:The plates are not correctly designed. They don't fit on to the mounting hardware because of the extra column of metal where the lock shaft would be for the real functioning door knobs.I had to grind down the protrusion to make them fit right, glad I didn't have to send them back, but disappointed at the quality given the price.

The knob was beautiful and just what I was looking for. Came in a timely manner and was well packaged.
