Obviously, you can see the cover. But nobody cares
I put this on to protect a new purchase. When I was doing so, I noticed that there was definitely clear visibility of the difference between the covered part of the aluminum and the raw aluminum Macbook Pro case. However, after a couple of weeks, I've totally forgotten it's even there. This stuff is seriously rugged, I would take a key to my brand new $4000+ laptop and not even bat an eye. No peeling at the edges, no discoloration. Really makes me happy with protecting my investment.
- Prevent your new laptop to avoid scratches by watch, buckles, jewelry and other metal objects
- May obscure the MacBook's design, rendering it less recognizable
