Review on 🍡 Alessi 2.09-qt. Stainless Steel Bottom Water Tea Kettle by Crystal Wilson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Have owned one for about 30 years. and i still love to see it every morning.

Yes, you need a really hot oven to keep both whistles stable. Yes, if your stove is too hot the plastic handle will melt. Pouring is inconvenient and you're more likely to spill on the countertop. Yes, it's all sealed and you can never clean the inside. But look at this! I bought a new line so the crazy train whistles can fill my kitchen! You can order a replacement plastic pen cover from Amazon, which isn't very easy to replace, but it's not very difficult either. There's not much you can do with a misplaced spout other than overfill and I pour onto a tray to keep the boiling water off the cutting block. And cleaning doesn't seem to be necessary if you use clean, filtered water. If you have hard water or live in a city that throws away all kinds of supplements to make sure you're healthy, well, YMMV.

Pros

Cons
