Review on 🔧 FEL-PRO OS 30656 C Oil Pan Gasket Set: Superior Sealing Solutions by Jeffrey Bush

I installed this on my 2000 Subaru Outback when the engine was removed to replace the head gasket. The oil pan did not have a seal from the factory, but was simply glued and screwed. At the recommendation of my local mechanic, I installed it with a light coat of Permatex Ultra Gray on both sides (this helped hold it in place as I bolted the pan on and provides a little extra sealing ability). Installation was easy and the spongy nature of the plug compensated for minor mismatches in the oil pan/block interface. 500 km since installation I had no problems with it. UPDATE 12/11/2013: 25,000 miles later this seal is still tight with no sign of leakage.
