Works as expected for valve cover and stem

Installed on my 2001 Suburban, they worked as expected, no more leaks at valve cover and/or stud seals. As other people have said make sure you install the bushings BEFORE putting everything back in place, use lots of oil to get them sliding, they need to be tight so the oil doesn't spill. Also, spend some time cleaning the lid for a better seal.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Safety

Even stud bushings are good

This is a Fel-Pro product and washers are what they do so I didn't hesitate to buy them. Some reviews said to buy other pin bushings because they were "broken". I don't know how they break, they're rubber. Just spray white lithium grease or WD40 on them and they'll work fine, no problem. They have to be tight to keep the oil in the valve cover.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Doubtful

Worked to stop a valve cover leak on a LQ4 engine.

Although Revain didn't think it would fit my truck, it does fit the 6.0 liter GM LQ4. This is the best gasket replacement. If you are thinking of saving money I would say that this is indeed a cost effective option. Fel-Pro does good. Some people think that changing the bolt seals is optional, but I'd say go for it. The material will harden and the lower part of the eyelet will come loose.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Out of style

Leaking after second engine start, dirt after a few hours of use

Installation was a complete problem at first, they kept falling out of the groove on the valve cover. They started leaking very early after starting the engine. I had to replace the tappets and when trying to reinstall both gaskets both gaskets buckled and became much larger in diameter than the valve cover groove. It's impossible to get the seal right in the groove with ZERO miles and just a few hours of driving.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Negative impression

Why do you only sell a secondary air seal?

Why only sell one secondary air injector gasket when you sell two valve cover gaskets? The '99 Pontiac Trans on the LS1 has 2 valve covers and 2 secondary air lines. Each of the two lines gets 1 pad, but you only give one in your kit. Now I had to buy a complete set from someone else so I could fit both valve covers you sold me. We need 2 valve cover gaskets, 8 O-rings and 2 gaskets for the secondary air line. Thank you HTF TKD

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Clear

2005 Chevrolet Silverado WT 4.8L

Installed on a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado WT 4.8L Gaskets and bushings worked properly. It's been a few months since I've worn them but haven't driven a truck many miles since quarantine and all in 2020 - haven't noticed any leaks and cleaned the valve covers before fitting. While I'm not sure what issues people were having for whatever reason, I had no trouble installing the grommets; I added some lube to each of them before installing them on the stud and I had no problems.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Read this: Rocker Cover Gasket Kits

Blue Fel-pro rocker cover gaskets are great. I've used them on previous cars and love how the color provides a clear separation between the head and the valve cover. They also look very good when painting valve covers. They are holding up well and should provide many leak free miles. Where this kit sucks is in the gaskets for the valve cover bolts. Not sure if this is "old stock" or if the material is just junk. The thinner part of the profile covering the valve cover bolt hole was split during

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Big and Bulky
